Leading the Way in Folk Art + Culture Exchange
C‑FACE Society stands as one of Canada’s only societies solely dedicated to folk art and cultural exchange as a means of cultural preservation—advancing a mission that reaches far beyond traditional multicultural events or heritage celebrations.
At C-FACE, we host events that empower youth and youth-at-heart, to connect with their cultural roots through language, art, and storytelling. By bringing together people from diverse backgrounds, we create spaces for sharing, learning, and building understanding. Our community events help participants experience the richness of other cultures firsthand, while also connecting them with local cultural hubs that promote positivity, identity, and cross-cultural respect.

The Story Behind — Our Logo
Our logo is more than just a symbol — it’s a visual expression of who we are and what we stand for.
Designed in collaboration with Blooming Parrot PR, the C-FACE logo was thoughtfully crafted to reflect the heart of our mission: bringing people together across cultures, generations, and geographies.
At first glance, you’ll see flowing form lines — these represent people from diverse backgrounds, standing side by side. The lines gently branch like trees, symbolizing our interconnectedness, growth, and shared roots. Look closer, and you’ll notice they also sprout like wheat — a motif found across many folk traditions around the world. Wheat speaks to resilience, nourishment, and harvest — a collective symbol of cultural abundance.
There are 10 form lines, each representing one of Canada’s provinces, united in motion — from Coast to Coast to Coast. Above them are three dots: a subtle but powerful nod to Canada’s three Territories, and to the First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Peoples — the original stewards of this land and the first cultures from which all cultural exchange in Canada begins.
In every curve and line, the C-FACE logo holds our values: inclusion, respect, cultural preservation, and the belief that we grow stronger when we grow together. It’s a symbol of our motto — connecting hearts and inspiring traditions that live, grow, and thrive together.
